Step 1: Gather Your Tools and Materials

Step 2: Disconnect the Power

Before you begin wiring your pendant lamp, make sure to turn off the power to the area where you’ll be working. You can do this by turning off the breaker or pulling out the fuse that controls the circuit.

Step 3: Remove the Old Light Fixture

If you’re replacing an existing light fixture with a pendant lamp, you’ll need to remove the old fixture first.
